Process Church will seek to be a place that refuses to rank sins. There are no biggies… just sins. Sins that are ALWAYS forgivable. Forgiveness doesn’t dismiss the ramifications of sin. Rather it embraces the realities of grace. Forgiveness is the ultimate kindness of God. One Scripture says that we are to forgive others in the same way that God through Christ has forgiven us.
It is from that reality that we extend forgiveness to others. It has little to nothing to do with whether or not someone may deserve forgiveness. The simple fact is that no one does. Yet God gives Jesus as the ultimate (in every way) sacrifice to say, “I forgive you!”
